My Design Process

Bespoke Cabinetry

Step 1: Free Consultation

The first step in my design process is a casual discussion about the piece of furniture you're looking for, your budget, any particular styles you like, and any other crucial aspects. If you're unclear of the exact design, I can start sketching out a variety of options for you to consider. I can move directly to making  if you don't require this.

Step 2: Initial Design

If you require designs options, there are three rounds of revisions included in the price of design. I will create all initial designs based on our conversation, with your budget and style in mind. For an additional fee, rendered CAD drawings are also available.

Step 3: Finalise & Crafting

Once you are happy with your design, I will then set time expectations for when the project will be finished. My current lead times are six to eight weeks. At this stage, I require a 50% deposit, and the remaining 50% is due on completion.

Hand Picked & Sustainable Sourced Wood

My finished pieces are always sturdy, long-lasting and created with environmental sustainability and the local economy in mind. Each item I produce is bespoke and made for you to meet what you’ve set your heart on.

Trusted Professionals

Many years of experience producing hand-crafted carpentry items have led to countless satisfied customers. With a dedicated workshop and all the tools I need, I fabricate your dreams into material existence.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much does a bespoke cabinetry item cost?

Quoting for a bespoke cabinetry item depends on numerous factors, including:

    • Size
    • Shape
    • Wood type
    • Intricate joinery and finishes

I’ll provide you with a transparent, obligation-free quote for your peace of mind.

There is a standard cost of £250 which is required before the process begins.

  • Which areas do you service?

I am based in Measham, a small village in the centre of Leicester, Burton-upon-Trent, Lichfield, Tamworth and Nuneaton.

  • What happens in the design process of a bespoke item?

After our initial point of contact, I'll produce some simple, no-obligation designs and give you a rough cost estimate range.

In some cases (such as cabinets or wardrobes), I’ll drive out to your location to ensure I get precise measurements for the build phase.

Once you’re happy and ready to give the go-ahead, I take a 50% upfront deposit to help with sourcing and supplying the materials.
