Ash Lily Desk Lamp

This handcrafted lily desk lamp has a quiet sturdiness about it. The solid base and curved stand support a fixed shade that directs light steadily where you need it most. Available in either oak or ash, it’s a design that feels honest and purposeful, with nothing you don’t need. We make every part by hand in our Staunton Harold Estate workshop in the East Midlands. First, we laminate and press thin sheets of oak or ash to form the stand’s elegant curve, and attach this to the base. Then, it’s time to hand-form and bend the petals, and attach them to the turned base to create the shade. Finally, we join the shade to the stand, and this beautiful handmade lamp, made using traditional British carpentry, is complete. We choose oak and ash carefully from sustainable sources, appreciating its natural grain and lasting strength. This lamp is built to be reliable, simple, and welcoming, ready to brighten your day for decades to come.
