Behind Traditional Craftsmanship
In a world of next-day delivery and fast fashion, quality, traditional craftsmanship and timeless character have been all but forgotten.
I want to change that.
Every item you order from my shop has been entirely hand crafted. From carefully selecting the timber, to shaping every petal, gluing, sanding and giving the wood a final finish. The aim of every piece isn’t just to create something that you love when you first open it, but something you’ll love for many years to come.
All of this happens in my little oasis at ‘The Ferrers centre for Arts and Crafts.’ the centre is home to a community of around 20 makers, from furniture makers to blacksmiths, felters to ceramicists and everything in between. We are a group of makers who share the same passion and work together to bring back traditional craftsmanship.
